Biography
Michael Sewell is a Louisiana attorney with extensive courtroom experience and a strong background in criminal litigation. He is committed to protecting the rights of individuals facing serious legal challenges and providing clients with the knowledgeable, strategic representation they need during difficult times.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor from LSU Law Center, where he distinguished himself through the school’s advocacy program. During law school, he served on the LSU Board of Advocates and was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honor recognizing excellence in courtroom advocacy, oral argument, and legal writing.
Prior to joining VeazeyFelder, LLC, Michael gained substantial trial experience in Louisiana criminal courts. He handled a wide variety of criminal matters, appeared regularly before judges and juries, litigated evidentiary and procedural issues, negotiated case resolutions, and tried cases in court. This firsthand courtroom experience gives him valuable insight into how criminal cases are investigated, prosecuted, and defended.
Today, Michael applies those skills to helping clients navigate the legal system and protect their futures. He understands that criminal charges can place a person’s freedom, reputation, career, and family at risk.
